Hey Readers-Who-Are-Also-Writers!
I wanted to share an opportunity to attend an all-day writing workshop with me this weekend for anyone who is local (i.e., in Michigan) and at any point of their writing career. This Saturday I will be in Byron Center teaching two of my most popular workshops about revision and self-editing and about the publishing process from start to finish. Details from the Grand Rapids Region Writers Group and registration link below! And don’t miss the discounted manuscript review and developmental edit opportunities for attendees!
Hope to see you there!
This Year’s Speaker:
This year, GRRWG’s 5th Annual Workshop speaker is Michigander Erin Bartels.
Just one week from now, Erin will present “The Art of Publication” in two sessions between 9:00 am and 3:30pm. In the morning, she’ll teach us how to Revise Like a Pro: Self-Editing Techniques to Bring Your Writing to the Next Level. The afternoon’s session covers Publishing 101: Your Book's Journey from Idea to Shelves.
Erin has been a publishing professional for more than twenty years and is the award-winning author of We Hope for Better Things, The Words between Us, All That We Carried, The Girl Who Could Breathe Under Water, Everything Is Just Beginning, and The Lady with the Dark Hair (released just this year). She’s a two-time Christy finalist, and the winner of two WFWA Star Awards and two Michigan Notable Book Awards. For more information, check out her website:
